An initial 30 minute consultation is provided free of charge. 

 

All fees quoted are negotiated in advance and are flat rate. This rate covers all costs of research, production, and electronic delivery of the copy. If travel is required, travel expenses are taken on a case by case basis and are negotiated separately. There are no surprise expenses or budget overruns.

 

The fee covers the copy and recommendations for basic formatting where necessary, delivered the buyer's choice of Microsoft Word and/or Adobe PDF format. It does not include charts, graphics, or design elements of any kind. If you need these services, I can provide referrals to graphics and web designers who can provide them.

 

Unlimited revisions are covered up to 30 days after first delivery, provided the scope of the project has not changed. A final proofing to check formatting before publication is provided at no charge.

 

A signed contract and 50% deposit are required before starting any project. The remainder is due within 30 days of the delivery of the first draft. There is a 10% discount if the entire fee is paid in advance. A rush fee may be charged for any project with a deadline of less than one week.

 

I reserve the right to renegotiate fees in the case of scope changes after the contract is signed.

 

If the project is killed after the writing is completed, the full fee is still due. Projects killed while the material is under construction are subject to a kill fee based on the percentage of project completion.
